The stun should let your healing ward go through, as well. Really weapon traits are situational, use your intelligence not the meta. If they use projectiles, use dragon fire scale as soon as you see them activate a skill, not too much before, so they don't wise up. To my knowledge Nirnhoned is the go to trait now after it's buff and defending/sharpened nerfs. Elusive mist ends before healing ward does, so it'll heal you almost directly after mist ends. This way your healing ward is hit last and you get the full heal. First hit dampen magicka, the stronger ward, then healing ward to heal yourself. When you're on the defensive, break line of sight as much as you can after hitting elusive mist to make distance. The Lightning staff allows you to focus on the one person you hit with elemental susceptibility and not have to worry about enemy dk's, and the splash damage will be 20% stronger to those around the individual. ![]() After you're sure they've been hit with both charge up your heavy attack, and let loose. Open it up with elemental susceptibility then hit them with elemental blockade and fossilize. Damage Bonus Elemental Drain - Reduces spell resistance significantly Before the fight, activate molten armaments and mutagen. For a heavy attack build the mal staff still came out on top as long as blockade is active 100 For the usual frag/pet build on a sorc the sharpened staff will be better though. So unless you are lacking in crit or running a crit build, I wouldnt recommend precise for a PVP/PVE build. ![]() In PVP, most players will run impenetrable gear and other forms of cirt resistance and in PVE most DPS only run about 50-70 criticals. non sharpened/BIS traited maelstrom lightning staff. Precise is useful for increasing your weapon/spell critical. I want to say someone did testing on this.
